-----------

So good to have my beautiful sister back at home again for a substantial amount of time. Everything is back to how it's supposed to be.
Off to the Panto tomorrow night too, after a lovely meal out. I can't wait to be back with my Joshy, Mum, Dad, Tabba, Chris and Nanny and Robert; then on New Years day it is time for Christmas day number two, featuring presents, songs, crackers,  mixed fish pate, Christmas dinner, and sticky toffee pudding, with my favorite people again!

We're walking in the air

For me this film will always be the most beautiful and Christmassy film in the world.
And this cover of the main song in the film is also incredible, another triumph for the Maccabees

Home is wherever I'm with you...

It is so lovely to be home for Christmas, on Saturday my parents picked me up after spending a depressing, but productive night in the flat alone. We drove back and when I got home my lovely best friend Evie came to see me, followed by Josh (I don't need to explain who he is again).
On Sunday morning me and Josh woke up to a full English breakfast cooked by my mum and dad, with all the trimmings; two sausages, two bits of bacon, fried bread, an egg, beans, mushrooms and normal bread and butter. Incredible. Then the day got better and better as we watched Christmas films, I went out for a drive with Josh, then mum made an incredible dinner; prawn cocktail to start, in memory of my Pa who passed away two years ago on the 16th. Then my favorite dish, turkey chicken, that my mum made up, its basically chicken breasts in an amazing mustardy, creamy sauce. Then cheesecake to finish, again so amazing!
Then on Monday, it was finally time to see all my friends again at MEGA XMAS EMO ONSLAGHT, a night that comes once a year just in time for everyone to be back home for Christmas! We all got very drunk and I had such a fun time, then afterwards all the girls had a sleepover at Evie's. One of the best nights I've had in a long time!

A lot about Christmas

I wish my life involved all of the above at the moment, minus the girl, I'll go in her place. Basically I would love to have a huge rant about the weather right now, I'd moan about how cold and wet and miserable it is outside, but I will refrain from going any further. The up side for many to this dark and cold time of year is of course Christmas. It has to be said, i'm not very looking forward to Christmas this year, it's the first Christmas i'll have ever spent in my whole life without my beautiful big sister Tabitha, which i'm trying not to think about because it is too upsetting. It is also our turn to go and spend Christmas with my family in Leeds, which means no Christmas eve at the pub with my friends, and no boxing day spent with my lovely boyfriend Josh. However, I can't wait to go back to Nottingham and see my friends and family at home, it seems like so long since I last saw them all, and it'll be lovely to catch up by getting fucked at Mega Xmas Emo Onslaught, and Jingle Bell Bopp.

First of all before home time though, it's time for mine and my flat's version of Christmas. So technically it is Christmas write now, MERRY CHRISTMAS. Our day will involve lots of food that we'll attempt to make, lots of Christmas music and Christmas films, crackers, presents, decorations, fun and alcohol, I personally cannot wait! Pictures will follow at a later date, but for now I have a few pictures we took on the day we put up the tree, which was equally as Christmassy, we clearly can't get enough of it!
