Houses and milkshakes

Went for a vanilla milkshake with the girls yesterday and it was so so tasty, I had been craving it for a long time and I'm glad I finally got one. Another craving I keep having is for a McDonalds breakfast, but I'm not sure I will ever get up early enough to go all the way to McDonalds and have one.

More interesting news that I have recently got, is that me and my friends at uni have found an amazing house and are sorting out the paperwork to get it, but it is basically ours now and we are all so excited. Me and my friends searched through hundreds of houses on the internet, rang so many housing companies, and took quite a few trips up to the student area we wanted to live in, and finally it all paid off. There were so many disgusting, dark, dirty and damp houses we saw, but eventually we came across what we'd all been looking for, and our excitement literally poured out of us via smiles, laughter, screams, and talk of the house. 

The house is modern, big, it has a garden, it has nice rooms, a lovely living room with leather sofas, a glass coffee table and a fireplace; the kitchen is all newly renovated, with a big wooden dinning table. The rooms aren't huge, but a nice size and they are all double beds, and last but not least, two nice clean, modern bathrooms.

It made me a very happy girl.

My favorite things to do is hunt for bargains in charity shops, boutiques etc sometimes even Primeark. I went on what I would class as a shopping spree and got some amazing bargains and I was so happy with them I thought I'd show them off.

The quality is terrible, but you get the picture...

Not sure why the TRESemmé dry shampoo is there, but I got it the day I got these and it is incredible.

Back to Sheffield

I'm back in Sheffield after an amazing Christmas with Josh, my family and friends.
Whenever I go home, I realise a little more each time how amazingly kind and caring my family are, I cannot thank them enough for everything they've done for me throughout my life, and the things they still do now even though I'm all grown up and live in a different city. My family mean the world to me, and without my mum, dad and sister I'd be nothing and no one...literally too ahaha

The dream den from the holiday. When I have children I'm going to attempt to re-create this for them.

Colours

I can't wait for a bit of color in the world, there is only so long I can take this dull winter.

Just lately I have realised how much I want to hold on the my youth, I spent so many of my teen years wishing I was older and more mature, and now I'm 19 and on the brink of my 20's, all I want is to stay trapped in the happy, and sometimes hard moments of adolescence. However, there are a few years of my life I would never ever go back to, I suppose I'm just happy I'm healthy and plodding along steadily, and so are the rest of my family and friends, what more could a girl really want?

These will hopefully be my next purchase, after this essay and exam are over. I may even go and get them straight after my exam in preparation for my holiday in May to my favorite place in the world, my second home Kalkan, in Turkey.

I hate to moan about the weather, but I cannot deny that this would make me a very happy lady.

Sat in an array of letters, books, and essay notes trying to figure out what I'm actually doing in my exam, and with my essay. With only five days till my essay is due, and then only three days till an exam I haven't revised for, I am feeling pretty low and flustered from this information overload. If there is a god out there, help me.

F+TM

After a long time pondering who I would say is my favorite artist/band, I chose Florence + The Machine. I came to this conclusion because if i turn any song of hers on full blast and dance around my room, I get goose bumps and a huge smile on my face, and because if I had to choose one person to listen to for the rest of my life, I would happily choose her.
Also, she is absolutely incredible live, and I could never pick some one that I wouldn't enjoy seeing live.

Happy 2012

Happy 2012 everyone. My 2012 started off very well; with my lovely friends, boyfriend, glitter cannons, amazing music and lots of alcohol. It was without a doubt one of the best new years eves I've ever had.
There are a few pictures I took on my phone from the night, that are very blurred and pretty awful, but I enjoy them.
I hope year is a good one.
