+

With only 6 days till I go on holiday with Josh, my driving test passed, loads of my friends and families birthday's have come and gone, and so many lovely days and nights out had. I would like to take a moment to reflect on the amazing summer I have had.
I cannot wait to see my friends in Sheffield again too, I can't wait to make our flat our own, to have people surrounding me constantly and to get up to all kinds of mischief.
I am so lucky and happy to have so many loving friends and such an amazing family and boyfriend, I could not be happier.

"I will possess your heart"

How I wish you could see the potential, the potential of you and me.It's like a book elegantly bound but,in a language that you can't read.Just yet.

I want this soooo much
I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST TODAYY! So so happy I can not explain! I was determined to pass my test before I went back to Uni in less than a month, so I didn't have to come back specially and do it again! It was my second time, as the first time went terribly and I got the worst examiner (my driving instructor told me) who didn't speak or try and interact with and and was very stern. I also got the hardest root, going through the centre of town where there are roundabouts, cars, people and lane changes galore. BUT I PASSSED!
Happiest girl in the world!

Sunday 21 August 2011

Went to Leeds and Whitby at the weekend to see my family and celebrate my uncle's birthday and my Gran's 80th. Every day was beautiful and the sunshine showed its face a fair bit on each day.
We had a lovely day in Whitby, ate at The Magpie Cafe, followed by some icecreams on the beach. I saw lots of seagulls which I really like, and actually witnessed an adult seagull regurgitate its food, a baby seagull then ate it, ewwwwwwwwwww.
Took a few pictures on my phone, but it doesn't do justice to how beautiful, bustling and picturesque Whitby was, it never disappoints.

Dressed for winter in summer...

Jacket- New Look £20
Jumper- Stall at Glastonbury £3
Dress (can't see it very well)- H&M £15
Tights- Asda £2

This time last year...

I had a broken family and life, the conditions I had to do exams in where unbearable, hard and heartbreaking. Some how I pulled through and still tried my very best. I did better than I could ever have imagined in my results and got in to my first choice of University, Sheffield Hallam.
A year on, so much has changed. My parents are back together again, my dad is back at work finally. We moved house after 18 years at my other one. I went to uni, made new friends and became independent (sort of). Me and Josh lasted through it all, and with our 2 year anniversary fast approaching. Things finally seem to be in a state of calm in my life, and I am happy to just be normal again.
Please let it stay this way...

Strike a pose

6.27

6.27 minutes in is me singing with Beyonce basically haha. One of the highlights of my life. This video also makes me miss Glastonbury. Take me back.

My flat for next year is completely confirmed and mine to move in on the 17th September. This summer has gone way too fast, although it will be lovely to go back and have back my freedom, and Uni friends. I can't help but think about all the things I'm leaving behind at home. It breaks my heart to even think about saying goodbye to my family, Josh and friends at home again.

Something I haven't missed about Uni is trains, sitting on trains for hours on my own to go and see various people is tiring and draining. Having to travel to get a hug from my mum and dad makes me very sad. But the biggest change when going back to Uni, is my relationship with Josh. Everything get a little bit harder, as we get a lot further. Three and a half hour train journeys every month kill me and only seeing him two times a month is horrible, but every sad train journey and tearry goodbye is worth it, because I get to see my lovely boyfriend again. Being together almost everyday over summer has been incredible, I never even let myself think about when it ends...

Although it makes me really sad leaving home, I also feel really excited about moving in with my friends. I will be living with five girls, Aimee, Jess, Jen and Becca in a really big, modern flat. We are bringing lots of board games and I am bringing my PS2 plus lots of games for that. We are going to make our flat looking homey and I am certain that we are going to have an absolutely amazing time living together.

Though there are lots of positives, and negatives about going to University, I am glad I went.
